"The True Champions Of Rodeo"

Livestock are some of the toughest and most resilient animals on the planet. They are built to withstand harsh conditions and extreme temperatures, and have been bred for generations to be strong and durable. Rodeo is a sport that showcases the strength and agility of these incredible animals, and it is a testament to their toughness and endurance.

Contrary to popular belief, Rodeo does not harm livestock. The animals are well-cared for and treated with the utmost respect. They are given regular veterinary check-ups and are only ridden or roped if they are healthy and able. Rodeo events are designed to mimic the natural movements of the animals used on farms & ranches and do not cause any unhealthy stress or harm, in fact these animals are extremely privileged compared to some of the things they're subject to around the world.

Roping and spurring have been a part of cowboy culture for decades. However, there is often a misconception that these activities are cruel to the animals involved. The truth is, rodeo animals are well-cared for and trained professionals ensure that their welfare is a top priority!

It's also important to note that rodeo animals are not just used for one event, but for many different events so their well-being is the top priority for the handlers and the organizations that oversee rodeos.

In fact, Rodeo is a way for people to connect with and appreciate the hardworking and strong animals that are such an important part of our agricultural heritage. It is a celebration of their toughness and a reminder of the important role they play in our lives. So next time you watch a rodeo, remember to appreciate the incredible strength and resilience of the livestock that make it all possible.

* A Personnel testimony from a Rodeo Stock Contractor...... "The livestock used in rodeo is just like your family dog. They are loved as much if not more than the inside pet. We work hard to be able to provide the best life for these animals. They are a life time commitment because some of these animals live to be well into their 30's and when we lose one they get just as much respect as some of your close friends because that's what they are, friends and family".
